Babies Situation:

We have 4 pounders on our hands. Both Trinity and Kinsley are officially 4 lbs today. 9 weeks old and 4 lbs!! The Girls are having another good day. Both had labs taken this morning to make sure everything looks good and it did. They are also doing well on their feedings but do desat a little bit during their feedings which is common in preemies. However they will have to improve for them to come off the nasal cannula. There are 3 levels to the nasal cannula: 1 liter, 2 liters, and 3 liters. Trinity is on 2 liters of oxygen and Kinsley is on 3 liters of oxygen. They will probably decrease their levels in the next week or so if all goes well.

Parent's Thoughts:

The Girls are 9 weeks old today and will be 34 weeks gestation tomorrow. We were able to give both Girls tub baths tonight. It was so much fun!! They loved it!! They just looked around as we scrubbed them up. Mimi(Grandma Baden) also bought them cute fuzzy hats that they modeled for us tonight. Talk about cute! Andrea called them “Southern Bell Hats”. We will have them model them once again when the babies get older. They will add a little spunk to their wardrobe - ha.

Our Daily Encouragement:

For in Him we live and move and have our being.

Acts 17:28

  3. 5/24/09 Wow we've been gone for a week so are just catching up on the twins. What a difference a week makes. It's so nice to be able to see their little faces and I can't believe how they've filled out. We still pray all remains well for all of you. Keep up the good news girls.
