March for Babies - Huge Success!

Family and Friends,

The March of Dimes was a huge success. Thanks to all of your support, we collectively raised more than $2,500 to help other families. Thank you so much for the continued support.

With lots of Love!

Babies Situation:

The Girls are 10 weeks old today. It is amazing how fast time has flown by. Trinity gained weight and is now 4 lbs 7 oz. Kinsley remains at 4 lbs 9 oz. The speech therapist assessed both Girls for bottle feeding today. She tried to bottle feed Trinity and decided she still isn’t ready. She’ll try again at the end of the week to see if there is any improvement. For Kinsley, she didn’t bottle feed her but did do a few exercises with her and she definitely isn’t ready yet. It is time for the Girls to get their immunizations in the next few days so we’ve been asked to read and give authorization. Other than that, no new changes.

Parent's Thoughts:

Please keep the Girls in your prayers. We need Kinsley to come off her nasal cannula in the next week. For both Girls, we need the apnea to go away and for them to bottle feed and gain weight. If both of these occur, they should be able to go home. We are still hoping to bring them home by 40 weeks (July 2nd). We also ask that you pray for our little friend Aiden. He is now 31 weeks and he just started having intestinal issues. If you remember, intestinal issues start occurring around 31-34 weeks. Thank you for everyone’s prayers and support. As you have witnessed, prayers work!!

Our Daily Encouragement:

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 34:17-18
