Babies Situation:

The girls are getting bigger every day. Kinsley now weighs 4 lbs 9 oz (wow way to go Kinsley) while Trinity now weighs 4 lbs 5 oz. It is great to see them gaining so rapidly. They are also still swaddled and are now even facing each other in their crib. It is so cute to see them together. They almost work off of what the other is thinking. The bottle feeding for Trinity has been put on hold. The doctor would like to wait until the speech therapist sees her again to see if she is really ready. In the meantime, we will continue to give her the pacifier during feedings and will do the oral exercises the therapist has suggested. Kinsley is starting to look for her hand when it’s time to feed so I think she is slowly getting ready to try bottle feeding.

Parent's Thoughts:

We are really enjoying all the interaction that we are getting with the babies now. We can hold them as much as we want, it is so much easier to change diapers in the crib rather than the isolate, watching them suck on their pacifier is so cute, and hearing all their cute noises just melts our hearts. Holding them at the same time is really enjoyable too. They are still getting stronger each day and growing like a weed. We are so blessed. Our babies went from 1 lb 6 oz and 1 lb 4 oz to 4 lbs 5 oz and 4 lbs 9 oz. God is good. True miracles.

Our Daily Encouragement:

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.
