Babies Situation:

It was a quiet day. The girls are 29 weeks gestation today - wow...

Trinity's lungs are more developed than Kinsley's but she needs a little more assistance on the CPAP. She has a rate of 20 with a peak pressure of 9 at 22% oxygen. She did have a handful of A's and B's but she is hanging in there. They also gave both of them a loading dosage of caffeine to help stimulate them.

Kinsley was at 33% oxygen an improvement from last night of 45% with a peak pressure from 9-10 but no rate. She also got caffeine and had her last dosage of antibiotics and anti-fungal medication - yeah. Even though Kinsley is doing OK, she is still needing the secretions to be suctioned a bit. Her chest X-Rays showed some haziness so it may still be a few days before she gets all the fluids out of her lungs.

Parent's Thoughts:

We were able to take a scheduled/much needed night off from the hospital. I hung with some of the boys while Mom was able to catch up on some things that she needed to get done. Even though we had the night off, we talked to our Nurse to see how the girls were doing. It is nice for us to know that we can call whenever we want to check in on the girls (especially if we cannot make it there). We are feeling good about their situation but still know there are many more weeks and challenges ahead.

Our Daily Encouragement:

And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, And establish the works of hands for us

Psalm 90:17
