Babies Situation:
Tuesday brings big news for Trinity’s!!! Her intestines look good and she is not having anymore green residuals so they have started her back on her feeds at 1 cc per hour continuously. They have also stopped her antibiotics. So like her sis, once her nutrition from the feedings is enough, her PIC line can be removed. Since she has gained weight, the doctors also increased her caffeine and will be giving it to her twice a day to help with her A’s and B’s. No changes on Kinsley today. She is quiet and happy, enjoying her food again!!
Parent's Thoughts:
We are so excited that both babies are back on their feeds. Unfortunately, we had to start from scratch but at this point, the intestines look good and they are getting milk. Once again, our doctors were proactive and made the right choices to protect their intestines. Thank you Dr. Diven!! We have to be careful and not get too comfortable knowing there probably will be more issues in the next few weeks but we will take it day by day. God, please help us accept your will.
Our Daily Encouragement:
For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on earth; the time of the singing of birds is come.
Song of Solomon 2:11-12
